Where you can just be yourself.

A safe, creative, and neurodivergent-affirming space for children, teens, and adults. No masking. No pressure. Just connection, creativity, and community.

Acknowledgement of Country

Creative Minds Counselling & Support Services acknowledges the Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, work, and gather. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We honour their enduring connection to Country, culture, and community nurtured over thousands of generations. Sovereignty was never ceded.

About Us

More than a service — a community.

Creative Minds was created to offer something different — a space where neurodivergent children, teens, and adults can feel genuinely safe, understood, and accepted without any pressure to mask who they are.

We’re a hub for therapy, support, and creativity on the Sunshine Coast. Counselling, social groups, animal-assisted therapy, D&D, anime, gaming, art, and sensory programs all live under one roof — structured around the way real neurodivergent brains and bodies actually work.

Whether you’re looking for one-on-one support or a community to belong to, you’re welcome here exactly as you are.

Its so fun and cool at Creative Minds. The staff are really nice, especially Sammi cos shes funny and gets our crazy jokes. And the food is good too. I like chilling out with my friends there and doing art and the space is such a vibe

love E xx

I love Creative Minds, Sammi's the best! I love that we can be unhinged but there's still a level of respect and boundaries. We can be weird and loud and others find it funny instead of giving you weird looks. And also Sammi is like, one of us!

I love going in there because everybody's kind and no one judges you. And you can wear whatever you want without being judged. And I love how the workers get all my jokes even when I don't get them myself. They are all like family

Sammi building a safe space for the children was really good and i'd say she handles us pretty well. And i'm someone who doesn't like a lot of adults

Outstanding NDIS Service! The team at Creative Minds Space has been absolutely incredible. They are so caring, patient, and genuinely have the kindest hearts. They’ve been a wonderful asset to my children’s lives — supporting them with compassion and understanding every step of the way. My children have gained so much confidence, creativity, and happiness since attending. I’m truly grateful for everything they do and would highly recommend Creative Minds Space to any family looking for a supportive and nurturing environment. 💙

Creatives minds counseling is an answered prayer for my family. Sam has created a beautiful and safe environment where my nervous introverted teen can establish and nurture a healthy, loving and supportive community where she feels valuable and appreciated. Sam has excelled in bridging the gap for our daughter to feel part of a community that accepts her wholly and celebrates her uniqueness and encourages her flourishing and growing confidence. As a mother I am deeply grateful to Creative minds for bringing out the very best parts of my daughter. As I said before, Creative minds is an answered prayer and Sam is an absolute Angel.

We’ve been going to Creative Minds Counselling & Support Services in Nambour for about six months now and it’s been such a great experience. The Wednesday and Saturday sessions (cosplay, D&D, and group activities) are fun, welcoming, and a real highlight of the week. The team here are kind, supportive and really get how to create a safe space for neuro-diverse young people. It’s been amazing to see new friendships form and the confidence that comes with being part of a group where you feel like you belong. Couldn’t recommend Creative Minds more highly, they’re doing something really special :) Thanks Sam & Team.
